Our trek begins! We'll leave Lukla behind and follow a relatively easy trail through vibrant rhododendron and pine forests. Our destination for the day is Phayang, reached via the charming village of Surke. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Himalayas as we embark on this exciting adventure.

Our path continues to ascend through moraines, leading us to the snout of the Hinku Nup Glacier. Khare boasts a spectacular view of Mera Peak's north face – a sight that will leave you breathless.

Despite the challenging climb, the rewards are unparalleled. High Camp offers a panoramic vista like no other. Witness the majestic Kanchenjunga rising majestically to the east, framed by the Chamlang ridge. Other Himalayan giants, including Makalu, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, the southern flanks of Lhotse, and Lhotse Shar, will also come into view. Prepare to be awestruck by the breathtaking panorama that unfolds before you.
Summit day arrives! An early wake-up call is essential as we prepare for the climb with a warm cup of tea. Temperatures here can plummet to an average of 10 degrees Celsius below zero, so bundle up appropriately.
Our ascent begins, following a gradual path across the glacier. We'll navigate the snow hump-back ridge, utilizing the classic non-technical route along the southeast ridge. The climb intensifies as we tackle the snout of the glacier and climb over the south summit to reach the final ridge.
And then, the culmination of your journey! Standing on Mera Peak's summit, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking 360-degree panorama. The adventure continues! Today, we embark on a challenging yet rewarding climb uphill for a couple of hours, eventually reaching Zatrwa La Pass. This scenic viewpoint will leave you breathless, offering a panoramic vista of the Lukla Valley. Gaze upon majestic peaks like Cho Oyu, Kongde, Numbur, Kusum Kanguru, and countless others that dominate the horizon.
Soak in the triumphant feeling of having conquered the pass, then begin your descent to Chutanga. From here, a straightforward path leads us back to the lively village of Lukla. Tonight, we celebrate your successful climb in grand style! Share stories, laughter, and a delicious meal with your Sherpa guides and porters, who have become valued companions throughout this journey. As you drift off to sleep in Lukla, savor the satisfaction of a remarkable adventure completed.
