Witness the magic of Kathmandu upon arrival! Soaring into crystal-clear skies, snow-capped peaks greet you. Our team awaits to whisk you to your hotel. After a smooth arrival and refreshing welcome drinks, your trip leader will brief you on your upcoming adventure. In the evening, enjoy a delicious welcome dinner with fellow trekkers, setting the stage for your unforgettable Himalayan experience.
Your first day in Kathmandu allows you to adjust to the time difference and get settled. In the morning, we'll embark on a guided tour of Kathmandu's crown jewels: the colossal Bouddhanath Stupa and the sacred Pashupatinath Temple. Following an informative briefing at the hotel in the afternoon, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Relax, do some last-minute shopping, or delve deeper into the city's vibrant culture. In the evening, we'll come together for a welcome dinner, gearing up for our early departure to Lukla and the start of your Himalayan adventure!
An early morning flight whisks you away from Kathmandu to Lukla (approximately 35 minutes), a legendary airstrip nestled amidst towering peaks. This historic landing site, built by Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpas in the 1960s, sets the stage for your adventure. Upon arrival, meet the crew and embark on a well-marked trail along the Dudh Koshi Valley. Our first night's rest will be in Phakding, where you'll gain an elevation of 1,250 meters (4,100 feet).

Important Update: During peak season, flights may operate from Ramechap Airport, located 130 km east of Kathmandu. This requires an earlier wake-up call (around 2 am) for a 4-hour drive to Ramechap, followed by a short 12-minute flight to Lukla. We will keep you informed of the specific flight details closer to your departure date. Get ready for breathtaking scenery and the start of your unforgettable Everest Base Camp trek!
Today's trek follows the Dudh Koshi River through a scenic pine forest. We'll navigate suspension bridges at several points and pass through charming settlements like Zapute, Toktok, Benkar, and Chumoa. Our journey leads us to Monjo, the gateway to Sagarmatha National Park, established to protect the region's delicate mountain environment.

Leaving Monjo, we'll descend slightly, cross another suspension bridge, and continue towards the impressive Hillary Bridge at the foot of a hill. After conquering this bridge, a climb up the hill rewards us with the bustling Namche Bazaar, a Sherpa trading hub. If the weather is clear, prepare to be awestruck by your first glimpses of majestic peaks like Thamserku, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Kusum Khangru. Tonight, we rest in Namche Bazaar, gaining 850 meters (2,788 feet) in elevation.
Nestled in a sheltered valley, Namche Bazaar serves as your base for a second night to ensure proper acclimatization. This bustling Sherpa hub offers a delightful day for exploration after breakfast.

Several options await:

Hike to Everest View Hotel: Ascend to the renowned Everest View Hotel for a breathtaking panorama of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam.

Explore Khumjung and Khunde Villages: Delve into the rich Sherpa culture with visits to the nearby villages of Khumjung and Khunde.

Your experienced guides will be happy to offer advice and accompany you on your chosen adventure. Seize this opportunity to explore, relax, and prepare for the next leg of your Everest Base Camp journey.
Today's trek takes us along the glacial Dudh Koshi River, offering breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku, and Ama Dablam. The vibrant trail winds through a colorful forest of blooming rhododendrons, a haven for wildlife like musk deer and pheasants. Reaching Sanasa, a junction point, one path leads to Gokyo Valley while our route continues towards Everest Base Camp.

We'll embark on a steeper climb towards Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. The challenging ascent is rewarded with even more spectacular close-up views of the surrounding mountains. After visiting the monastery, we'll descend through a serene forest of birch and rhododendrons, reaching Deboche for our overnight stay. This day offers a gain of 270 meters (886 feet) in elevation.
Today's journey presents a cultural and scenic delight. Our path winds through traditional Chortens (stone memorials) and Mani walls (walls inscribed with prayers). We'll pass charming villages, stopping for a delicious meal with breathtaking views of the towering Ama Dablam peak.

Our trek continues towards Pangboche, the highest permanent settlement in the valley. From here, we embark on the final, challenging climb of the day to Dingboche, a traditional Sherpa village. Agriculture is the lifeblood of this community, and you'll witness fields enclosed by stone walls, where buckwheat, potatoes, and barley are cultivated. Tonight, we rest in Dingboche, gaining 692 meters (2,279 feet) in elevation. Immerse yourself in the local culture and witness the Sherpa way of life.
Dingboche offers a rest day that's anything but restful! While you'll want to take it easy for acclimatization purposes, there are several ways to make the most of your time.

Stroll through the village and strike up conversations with the friendly Sherpa locals. Gaining insights into their way of life will be a cultural treasure. Relax and soak in the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Dingboche, or catch up on some reading.

Feeling adventurous? Consider an optional hike to Chhukung Ri, a challenging climb that rewards you with truly magnificent views. If you reach the 5,550-meter summit, prepare to be awestruck by jaw-dropping panoramas of Cho Oyu, Pumori, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Makalu, and Baruntse. These majestic peaks, towering over 8,000 meters, will leave you breathless in the best possible way. This acclimatization day nourishes your soul with cultural experiences and breathtaking scenery, all while preparing your body for the higher altitudes to come.
Our journey continues today as we depart Dingboche and ascend towards Lobuche. The trail traverses the Khumbu Glacier moraine, a landscape marked by both beauty and risk. En route, we'll pass a series of stone monuments, memorials dedicated to Sherpas who have lost their lives on Everest expeditions. A somber reminder of the challenges these mountains present.

From this point, the path descends along the western side of the valley, leading us to Lobuche. Keep your eyes peeled for the awe-inspiring sight of Nuptse bathed in the golden hues of sunset - a truly unforgettable spectacle. Tonight, we rest in Lobuche, gaining 260 meters (855 feet) in elevation.
Today's adventure is the culmination of your trek: reaching Everest Base Camp! An early start is essential, as the journey takes several hours. Weave through the Khumbu Glacier moraine, navigating ice pinnacles and vast crevasses. The landscape is both awe-inspiring and demanding.

After a well-deserved lunch break, we'll continue our trek through the remnants of Gorak Shep Lake, eventually reaching Everest Base Camp. Standing amidst the brightly colored mountaineering tents against the stark backdrop, you'll gain a profound appreciation for the courage of Everest climbers. Soak in the panoramic views of Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori.

On the return journey, a higher route offers breathtaking vistas of the Khumbu Icefall and the South Col route. Finally, we return to Gorak Shep for a well-earned rest, having gained 230 meters (755 feet) in elevation today. Prepare to celebrate reaching this milestone on your Everest Base Camp adventure!
Prepare for an unforgettable sunrise experience! An early morning departure is essential to reach Kala Patthar in time to witness the first rays of light illuminate Mount Everest. Be ready for chilly pre-dawn temperatures (ranging from -10°C to -14°C) and potentially strong winds.

As you ascend, familiar peaks like Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse will rise towards the east, with Everest gradually revealing itself between the west shoulder crest and Nuptse. Several amazing viewpoints along the way provide perfect opportunities to capture breathtaking photos.

After a challenging climb, you'll reach the summit of Kala Patthar. Here, a rocky outcrop adorned with cairns and prayer flags marks the pinnacle. As you settle in, prepare to be mesmerized by the unimaginable Himalayan vista. Towering massifs will stretch before you, creating a panorama you'll want to etch in your memory forever. Capture countless photos to relive this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Following this awe-inspiring moment, we'll descend back to Gorak Shep. From here, board a thrilling helicopter flight, soaring back to Kathmandu in style. Witness the majestic landscape you've conquered from a whole new perspective as you bid farewell to the Himalayas.
